Why this role is important to us?
The HR Advisor role, based in the Irish HQ in Stamullen, Co Meath is a key role within the Global HR Team and is responsible for ensuring HR provides a fast and knowledgeable service to employees, in Ireland and EMEA.
The role will support the People Strategy, participating in change initiatives and continuous improvements enhancing the overall HR Operations services offering and working to proactively ensure HR adds value. The role will report to the HR Operations Manager.
What will you do?
* You will build positive relationships and partner with the business to ensure consistency and best practice as well as ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
* Act as the point of contact for day-to-day HR queries from employees and issuing of employee correspondence, ensuring the service delivery is of high quality and in a timely and professional manner, escalating any issues to the HR Operations Manager where needed.
* Prepare and issue all new hire employment contracts and obtain signatures via DocuSign.
* Ensure all tasks and associated documentation are completed for onboarding including employment contracts, new hire forms etc.
* Facilitate new hire inductions for all new employees which involves collaborating with other departments including IT, Facilities and Health & Safety. Responsible for delivering the HR presentation.
* Management of probationary periods including communication with managers for any performance issues.
* Management of our Time Management System (Mitrefinch) including setting up new hires, amending clock cards and running reports.
* Act as an employee advocate to ensure fairness and due diligence are adhered to in line with company values.
* Ownership of Accurate background checks for employees who require access to client sites.
* Assist with the updating of Irish HR Policies and Procedures to ensure these are kept up to date with legislative changes & best practice and that they meet the needs of the business and our teammates.
* Work collaboratively within the wider HR team to ensure HR projects are delivered successfully, for example the implementation of a HRIS across the business, implementation of new policies etc.
