Kilkenny. The role involves welding and fabrication work both on the construction site and in the on‑site workshop.BenefitsCompetitive payEmployee Assistance Programme (EAP)RequirementsHave a valid Safe Pass card or CSR equivalent.Have a valid Manual Handling certificate.Abrasive Wheel training preferable.Proven TIG/MIG stainless steel welding experience essential.Skilled in stainless‑steel finishing (grinding, polishing, cleaning).Ability to work from technical drawings and fabrication details.Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment independently and as part of a team.Reliable and punctualResponsibilitiesMIG and TIG welding of stainless‑steel parts and structuresReading and working from drawingsMaterial prep including cutting, grinding and cleaning.Fitting and assembling components to specWeld in multiple positions (flat, vertical, overhead) as required on site.Inspect welds visually and ensure compliance with project specifications.Maintain welding equipment and tools in safe working condition.Follow hot‑work permits, fire‑watch procedures, and site safety rules.Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other trades.Maintain a clean, safe work area and report hazards immediately.Please note this is a temporary position with an immediate start.Job Type: Fixed term
