Contact our HR Team at .c**omWhat you will be doi**ng Act as product expert in the areas of controls, software, hardware, DDC and BMS integration of FläktGroup's full portfolio of productsProvide day to day technical support to internal staff across Sales, Projects and Service departmentsProvide day to day technical support to customers/end users, both site-based nationwide (Ireland) and remotely (via. MSFT Teams, TeamViewer and by telephone), with the installation of FläktGroup products (Air handling units, commercial chiller/heat pumps, building control systems, air terminal devices, motors and VSDs etc.)Assist site-based service teams and partners with the successful commissioning, integration and handover of FläktGroup packaged equipmentLiaise with Product Managers and Global technical support for second line support and product updatesMaintain and distribute technical notices and technical documentation provided by our factories to relevant stakeholders within the businessPromote knowledge sharing by designing and providing staff training and workshopsAttend factory training sites when required in UK, Europe and Scandina**viaWhat you will bri**ng: Education/Knowledge/Certification: Electrical trade background (controls biased – with time served in control panel building, BMS or equivalent)Third-level education in Engineering, Mechatronics or Automation desirableExperience required:Minimum +5 years' experience in building management systems (BMS) programming or automation or in an electro-mechanical controls position, installing, configuring, commissioning and troubleshooting controller hardware and softwareExperience with integrating and commissioning of HVAC primary plant a distinct advantageProven history of providing technical support a distinct advantageSkills required: Knowledge of HVAC building services and primary plant systems within the Irish market – Air handling units, chillers/heat pumps, hydronic systems, pumps, VAVs, fan coil units, motors and VSDs etc. and automation ofsameKnowledge of DDCs, I/O, sensors, IP networks, communication protocols (BACnet and Modbus etc.)Excellent reporting and communication skills (fluent English speaking)Excellent IT skills – MSFT Office suite, network programming/scanning software (AutoCAD desirable), IP networking familiarityPresentable with good customer facing skills and possess the ability to manage situations of conflict on site and under pressurePossess excellent time management and organisational skillsBonus PointsFor:Proven history of engineering based problem solvingKeen interest in R&D, product management and controls engineeringHistory and examples of design and delivery of training or workshopsPrevious experience working for OEM product manufacturing companies in a technical support posi**tionWhat is in it for**you?
