Job Description
The Project Manager will act as the Contracting Entity’s representative, managing the project from planning and design through to successful completion and commissioning. Responsibilities include delivering the project on time, within budget and to specification, ensuring all objectives are met in accordance with the corporate strategic intent.
Programme Requirements, Standards & Performance
Oversee and monitor delivery around schedule, interface, cost, variations, contract and risk.
Develop the Project Execution Plan aligned with Contracting Entity’s standards.
Engage with and manage the project relationship with the Airport Transformation Manager.
Project Management Activities
Lead coordination ensuring interfaces are considered at all stages.
Maintain the Responsible / Accountable / Consulted / Informed task tracker.
Coordinate and manage design consultants and external service providers.
Organise design review meetings and communicate acceptance.
Communicate design changes to stakeholders.
Report monthly on tasks throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain overall project risk register and update monthly.
Identify opportunities to improve procedures, templates and products.
Monitor and apply performance management techniques.
Manage change control process.
Manage flow of project information between team and client.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years experience in Construction / Infrastructure sector, including aviation or similar projects.
Understanding of operating on a live airport site.
Experience operating on site (not just office‑based).
Tangible experience documenting best‑practice construction project management policies and standards.
Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Knowledge of client‑side project management.
Experience dealing with stakeholders at all levels to influence process improvement.
