About This Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Manager to lead and manage the full commercial sales process from initial inquiry to contract award. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join our organization and drive growth in the energy solutions sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the full commercial sales process, including identifying, qualifying, and engaging new and existing commercial clients across sectors.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, such as architects, developers, and engineers.
* Conduct site assessments and client consultations to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions.
* Collaborate with engineers/designers to develop system layouts, energy yield forecasts, and technical solutions that meet regulatory and financial standards.
* Prepare and deliver high-quality proposals, tenders, ROI models, and financial justifications for both private and public-sector clients.
* Manage formal bids, tenders, and submissions for larger-scale opportunities.
* Track and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and key accounts, providing regular feedback to management regarding customer needs, competitive activity, pricing strategy, and growth opportunities.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Renewable Energy or a related technical discipline. A minimum of 35 years experience in a technical sales or business development role is also required, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. You will also need strong relationship-building abilities with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders, and a right to work in Ireland without sponsorship.
