**Job Summary**
This is a 9-month fixed term contract with potential extensions, based in Limerick with hybrid working arrangements. The successful candidate will work 35 hours per week as an agency employee and receive an hourly rate of €43.72 based on an annualised salary of €79,847.
The role involves leading the design and development of operational and corporate systems, engaging with stakeholders on digital initiatives, and ensuring ICT infrastructure and applications are assessed for renewal and replacement.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and development of operational and corporate systems
* Engage with stakeholders on digital initiatives and provide implementation services for new developments
* Assess ICT infrastructure and applications at appropriate intervals to plan renewal and replacement
* Create and maintain project and service documentation
* Analyse current business practices, processes, and procedures to identify future opportunities
* Contribute to governance, standards, and best practice within the organisation
* Drive innovation to improve quality of care, clinical outcomes, reduce costs, and increase efficiencies
* Evaluate security standards and embed them into all operational processes
Supplier Management & Compliance
* Lead the supplier change management process for existing operational and corporate systems
* Manage software licenses, IT resource volume, and expenditure purchase agreements
* Review supplier performance against agreed targets and manage key supplier relationships
* Monitor third-party compliance with SLAs
* Manage internal and external hardware audits across the organisation
Communications and Relationships
* Foster effective and supportive relationships within the organisation and with external stakeholders
* Work collaboratively across multiple partner organisations and understand individual perspectives
* Provide specialist analytical advice and insight to inform decision-making and service transformation
* Become credible and foster effective relationships with senior managers to deliver agreed outcomes and comply with new standards
* Promote, negotiate, and facilitate change and resolve conflict with senior colleagues
Skills and Competencies
* Professional knowledge and experience in structured change standards and project methodologies
* Knowledge and experience of service improvement programmes and change management
* Experience of ICT projects, including change management, business analysis, and application development
* Knowledge and understanding of patient-based systems in a health or social care environment
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders
* Knowledge and experience in designing and maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity solutions
* Ability to use resources effectively and challenge processes to improve efficiencies
