Eir evo talent are currently seeking applicants for a Senior Python Developer. This is a permanent position located with our client in Dublin 1. This is a hybrid position, requiring 1-2 days per week onsite. This role offers you the chance to play a key role in the development of scalable, cloud-native products that make a real-world impact. Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain robust backend systems for a high-availability SaaS platform Develop scalable services using Python and AWS cloud infrastructure Collaborate across engineering, product, and leadership teams to deliver cutting-edge features Contribute to a modern engineering culture, applying best practices in CI/CD, test automation, and microservices Simplify complex systems and identify opportunities to optimize performance and reliability Requirements: 5+ years of experience developing backend systems in a production environment Strong expertise in Python development Solid experience building cloud-native applications using AWS services (e.g., Lambda, DynamoDB, Redshift, ElasticSearch, SNS/SQS) Sound understanding of distributed systems, modern CI/CD practices, and software quality standards A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience A collaborative mindset with a passion for problem-solving and high-quality delivery Desirable DevOps or Infrastructure-as-Code experience (e.g., Kubernetes, Pulumi, AWS CDK) Experience working with JavaScript frameworks Familiarity with real-time systems and data streaming Reference: EET7225 Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland or currently hold a Stamp 1G/4 Visa to apply.
