The primary function of the Environmental Health and Safety Specialist is to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, develop best practices, and promote a culture of awareness at the workplace. They will also advise on health and safety issues, provide training for employees, and conduct risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide expert advice on health and safety matters
* Develop and implement employee training programs
* Conduct thorough risk assessments
* Maintain the ISO45001 Safety Management System
* Establish and review emergency procedures
Requirements:
* Postgraduate diploma in occupational safety and health
* Qualifications in additional health and safety courses, such as first aid (advantage)
* Knowledge or experience in the ISO45001 Safety Management Standard (advantage)
