Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for an Ambulatory Care Nurse Specialist to work on a 6 month fixed-term contract (30 hours per week) at our hospital in Waterford. The successful candidate will provide and coordinate exceptional patient care in Pre-Operative testing and assessment clinic.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough pre-operative assessments including medical history review, physical examinations, and necessary investigations.
* Identify and manage risks, providing patient education and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
* Coordinate and facilitate necessary pre-operative tests such as blood work, ECG's, MRSA screening and imaging.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you will need to have experience in Phlebotomy, ECG recording is desirable. You should also have strong clinical assessment skills, and the ability to identify and manage risk factors.
