Job Opportunity
This role is a key part of the Business Support Team in the Waste Management Department. It involves providing comprehensive customer care and administrative services to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-level internal and external customer service by taking ownership of customer queries and following issues through to completion.
* Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork in achieving departmental objectives.
* Be the primary point of contact for all waste enquiries and complaints from the general public.
* Courteously handle emails, live chat, and social media requests from various stakeholders.
* Communicate with media to keep social media up-to-date on operational changes affecting householders and elected members.
* Collaborate with contract services suppliers to ensure smooth running of household bin collections.
The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, effective organisational and time management skills, discretion, and confidentiality. They should be proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office applications and possess a full current driving licence or suitable transport access.
Requirements
