Planning & Environment Solicitor (NQ – 2 PQE)
Location: Dublin/ Meath
A well-established Irish law firm with a strong public sector practice is seeking a Newly Qualified to 2 PQE Planning & Environment Solicitor to join its busy Public Authority team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor to develop a specialist practice advising local authorities and public bodies on complex statutory, regulatory and planning matters.
The Role
The successful candidate will work on a high-quality, varied caseload including:
Planning and environmental law matters
Local authority conveyancing
Advisory work across housing, data protection, FOI and AIE
Regulatory and enforcement matters
Statutory and administrative law processes
You will be exposed to significant public sector work from an early stage, with strong supervision and mentoring.
Candidate Profile
Newly Qualified to 2 years' PQE
Demonstrable interest or experience in planning and environmental law
Experience in local government, property or conveyancing is an advantage
Strong analytical and drafting skills
Comfortable advising on complex statutory frameworks
Able to work both independently and collaboratively
Familiarity with Keyhouse or a similar case management system is beneficial.
