About the Role
A great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Administrator to join a small but busy team in Castlebar.
The ideal candidate will be hands-on with accounts and payroll software (Sage & Thesaurus) while also supporting administrative functions like maintaining client portals, training logs, and company records.
This is a flexible part-time role with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and organisation.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Payroll
Process day-to-day accounts using Sage
Prepare invoices, monitor payments, and maintain ledgers
Run payroll via Thesaurus (BrightPay)
Reconcile accounts and support end-of-month processes
Liaise with external accountant/bookkeeper as required
Administration
Maintain and update client portals with relevant documents
Ensure company training logs and certifications are kept current
Manage internal health & safety files and HR-related admin
Assist with general office duties and document filing
Provide ad hoc support to management as needed
Ideal Candidate
Strong experience with Sage and Thesaurus/BrightPay an advantage
Comfortable handling payroll and accounts tasks independently
Highly organised and detail-focused with strong admin skills
Excellent communication and record-keeping abilities
Able to work flexibly – either 3 days/week or shorter hours across 5 days
Prior experience in a similar role is strongly preferred
