Operations Management Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team. This is a pivotal role within a growing organisation that takes pride in delivering durable, precision-engineered products backed by world-class manufacturing and installation processes.
About the Role
The successful candidate will lead the Production and Logistics functions managing a team of approximately 80-90 employees and play a key role in driving operational excellence across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage day-to-day operations across manufacturing, logistics, design, and installation.
* Oversee production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.
* Manage and develop a team of 80-90 employees, including production supervisors, logistics coordinators, and installation teams.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, output, and cost efficiency.
* Collaborate closely with design, production, and sales teams to ensure seamless project execution.
* Manage subcontractors and installation teams to achieve safety, quality, and performance targets.
* Develop and mentor team leaders to build capability, accountability, and engagement.
* Monitor KPIs and operational performance, providing insights and reports to the Managing Director.
* Support the implementation of new systems, technologies, and process improvements.
* Maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years experience in a manufacturing management or senior operations leadership role.
* Strong leadership experience managing large teams (80+ employees).
* Proven track record of improving operational performance in a manufacturing or production environment.
* Knowledge of Lean, continuous improvement, or process optimisation methodologies.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
* Commercially astute, hands-on, and results driven.
