Senior Digital Brand Manager - Fixed Term Contract

The Senior Digital Brand Manager is responsible for shaping and delivering brand-led, digitally fluent marketing that builds awareness, drives engagement, and fuels performance outcomes.

This role bridges the worlds of creative brand development and data-driven digital execution ensuring 123.ie remains culturally relevant, digitally sharp, and commercially effective. They will lead integrated marketing campaigns, manage creative and media agency partners, oversee digital brand channels, and drive cross-functional brand alignment across platforms.

This person brings together storytelling, strategic rigour, and an instinct for what cuts through. This role also requires strong people leadership, stakeholder management, and the ability to represent marketing at senior decision-making forums

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead Brand Strategy and Creative Execution Across Digital & ATL

* Strategic development of insight led brand strategy
* Translate brand strategy into powerful, insight-led campaigns across digital, TV, radio, sponsorship, and social.
* Develop and implement creative campaigns that grow brand awareness, trust, and direct traffic. Manage creative agency relationship, from briefing through to execution and performance review.
* Ensure brand voice is consistent across all platforms and aligned with evolving audience expectations.

2. Own Digital Strategy & Performance

* Lead digital strategy aligned with brand strategy that will be implemented across channels
* Lead organic and paid social media, influencer campaigns, and content partnerships (e.g. TikTok, YouTube).
* Optimise always-on content to contribute to brand metrics and upper-funnel traffic.
* Champion new formats, platforms and digital storytelling techniques that build emotional connection.
* Support lifecycle and product comms to ensure brand consistency and consumer relevance.

3. Sponsorship Activation, Go-to-Market & Strategic Campaign Ownership

* Lead sponsorship activation strategy, ensuring alignment with brand pillars and commercial outcomes.
* Deliver end-to-end go-to-market planning for new propositions or products — from positioning through launch and reporting.
* Collaborate with digital, product, and commercial teams to ensure a joined-up approach across customer journeys.
* Manage key marketing calendars (e.g. brand campaigns, reward comms, lifecycle content).

4. Measurement, Insight and Budget Management

* Own brand campaign reporting, working closely with media and analytics teams.
* Drive clear narrative on performance and impact of creative and sponsorship activity. Support forecasting and budget planning across brand and digital media spend.
* Feed into innovation and media planning — ensuring test-and-learn mindset.

5. Team Leadership, Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Influence

* Provide leadership and development support to direct and indirect reports across the marketing team.
* Drive alignment and collaboration across internal stakeholders – including product, pricing, digital, and customer teams.
* Represent brand and digital marketing at senior leadership forums, agency QBRs, and cross-functional planning sessions.
* Support a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and effective team rituals (1:1s, feedback, planning cycles).
* Maintain a strong relationship with external partners, ensuring clarity of roles, high standards, and commercial accountability.

Skills & Experience Required:

* 6–8+ years’ experience in integrated brand/digital marketing roles
* Strong brand strategy and creative development skills
* Proven track record leading digital campaigns that grow brand metrics and commercial outcomes
* Proven experience managing and developing direct reports
* Senior stakeholder management and influencing skills
* Ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels
* Experience managing agencies across creative, media and production
* Excellent communicator with ability to influence cross-functional teams
* Comfortable working across Digital, ATL, social, content, sponsorship and SEO/SEM-led environments
* Experience in performance-focused environments
