Job Title: Senior Occupational Therapist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly-motivated Senior Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team providing services to children and families within the region.
As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for the provision of occupational therapy supports to an assigned caseload which may include children and their families on the community team and/or an assigned special school team.
Your role will involve assessment, diagnostics, and intervention, clinical and performance supervision, and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities attending our service.
The post holder will work with children aged 0-18 years with physical, sensory, and/or learning disabilities, and/or developmental delay.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Provide occupational therapy supports to an assigned caseload
* Work with children and families on the community team and/or an assigned special school team
* Assess, diagnose, and intervene as necessary
* Supervise and support junior staff members
* Contribute to the development and implementation of service plans
Requirements:
* Be registered or eligible for registration on the Occupational Therapists Register maintained by the Occupational Therapists Registration Board at CORU
* Have three years full-time (or an aggregate of three years) post-qualification clinical experience
* Have the requisite knowledge and ability for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
