Work from home, with travel globally as required.***Role OverviewThe Workday Trainer has as a primary responsibility the design, development, and delivery of training programs to support the effective adoption and utilization of the Workday platform across the organization. While the main focus is on Workday HCM and related modules, the role ensures that employees, managers, and stakeholders gain the knowledge and skills needed to maximize the value of the system. Depending on organizational needs, the Workday Trainer may also contribute to broader training initiatives beyond Workday.Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Program DevelopmentCollaborates with subject matter experts to identify training needs across Workday modules (e.g., HCM, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Talent)Designs and develops engaging training materials, including presentations, user guides, e-learning modules, and hands-on exercisesAdapts training content to address different audiences and functional areasDelivery of TrainingConducts instructor-led and virtual training sessions for employees, managers, and possible other stakeholdersDelivers tailored training to different user groups, ensuring accessibility and effectivenessFacilitates drop-in sessions, demos, and workshops as part of ongoing adoptionDocumentationIn collaboration with the HRIS team and the SMEs, creates and maintains comprehensive training documentation and knowledge resourcesEnsures materials are updated in line with Workday releases and organizational changes. And are translated into the required languagesUser SupportProvides post-training assistance, addressing questions and supporting users in applying their learningPartners with HRIS team and SMEs to resolve user queries and ensure alignment with system processesContinuous ImprovementKeeps up to date with new Workday features, functionality, and best practicesGathers and analyzes participant feedback to improve training design and deliveryContributes to continuous improvement initiatives in training and change managementIn collaboration with the HRIS team, ensure the Training Tenant is always up to date and ready for any training needCollaborationWorks closely with P&C and business leaders to align training with organizational needsCollaborates with other trainers or learning teams on broader learning and development projectsEvaluationImplements assessment mechanisms to measure training effectivenessUses performance data and feedback to refine training content and delivery approachesRequirementsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Human Resources, Information Technology, Education)Proven experience as a Workday Trainer or in a similar training roleSolid knowledge of Workday HCM; exposure to other modules (e.g., Compensation, Talent, Recruiting) is strongly preferredExperience in instructional design and adult learning methodologiesStrong communication, facilitation, and presentation skillsAbility to tailor training to different audiences and skill levelsExcellent organizational and time-management skillsWorkday certification(s) are an advantageContract TypeThis is a contractor/consultant role.
