Responsibilities
* Operational management of business applications, ensuring availability, performance, and compliance with service levels.
* Collaborate with solution teams and project managers to understand application requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
* Coordinate and execute application lifecycle activities including installation, technical configuration, maintenance, and upgrades.
* Provide third-level support and manage major incidents in collaboration with infrastructure and network teams.
* Monitor system performance and implement improvements to ensure optimal operation.
* Execute daily operational tasks and service requests received from global GTS.
* Maintain system documentation and ensure knowledge transfer within the team.
* Participate in projects related to application and infrastructure enhancements.
* Ensure compliance with security and data protection policies.
Qualifications and Experience
* Professional experience in application management and system administration.
* Strong technical knowledge in system operations, troubleshooting, and incident management.
* Experience in working with global IT service teams and handling operational requests.
* In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, especially in setup and upgrade processes.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
* Strong communication skills in both technical and business contexts.
* Ability to familiarize yourself with special purpose applications as well as legacy applications.
* Fluency in both German and English is mandatory for this role.
Preferred Skills
* Analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
* Experience with automating tasks with PowerShell or similar solutions.
* Experience with application monitoring (e.g., Datadog).
* Experience managing monitoring tools.
* Experience using Jira and Confluence for collaboration.
