We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Class Teacher to join our outstanding team on a maternity leave cover basis from November 2025. Role Overview
The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning in line with our IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), ensuring that each child is engaged, challenged, and supported in their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver and assess engaging, inquiry-based lessons aligned with the PYP framework
* Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment where all learners feel valued and supported
* Use formative and summative assessment to inform teaching and promote student progress
* Maintain open, professional communication with parents and carers
* Contribute to school life beyond the classroom, including events, trips and enrichment activities
* Work collaboratively with year group colleagues and the wider teaching team
* Safeguard the welfare of students and uphold the school’s core values
About You
You are a reflective and enthusiastic educator with a strong understanding of child development and primary pedagogy. You bring energy, flexibility and a team spirit, and are committed to helping every child reach their full potential.
Essential
* A recognised primary teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Bachelor of Education, Máster de Profesorado or equivalent)
* A degree from an accredited and government-recognised university
* Experience teaching in a primary classroom setting
* A growth mindset and commitment to professional learning
* Eligibility to work in the EU
Desirable
* Experience with the IB PYP or inquiry-based learning
* Experience working in an international or bilingual school context
* Professional fluency in English
