YOUR ROLE | KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support the CCIS Ireland Finance Manager in delivery of day-to-day finance operations, including but not limited to:
* Accounts payable, including invoice creation
* Accounts receivable activities, including dunning
* General Ledger
* Bank Reconciliations
* Supporting activities in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
* Posting of bank and cash transactions
* Support with finance administration tasks relating to customs clearance activities
* Review and preparation of regular reports, e.g.. AP & AR reports, balance sheet reconciliations, sales reports, cost/loss comparisons, stock lists.
* Support with management of insurances and supplier contracts
* Review and posting of employee expenses
* Facilitate the registration and setting up of new customers and suppliers, ensuring internal systems are accurately updated and relevant documentation is processed
* Participation in finance and cross-departmental projects as required
* Ensure the accuracy of data and information within ERP system and Sage accounting software
* General finance administration including being first point of contact for finance-related queries, invoice and/or payment follow ups, monitoring of Finance shared mailboxes and office management responsibilities for the CCIS Dublin site.
* Support the Finance Manager with broader finance responsibilities including, but not limited to:
* Monthly closings
* Audit preparation
* Tax compliance
* VAT reporting
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU | KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Completed or actively pursuing professional finance qualification(s), e.g. AAT
* Demonstrable experience of working in a Finance Assistant / Assistant Accountant capacity within a fast-paced environment (logistics experience would be great, is by no means essential)
* Excellent working knowledge of ERP software is essential.
* Experience of working with SAGE accounting software would be a big advantage, but not absolutely necessary.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of seniority and across multiple locations
* Exceptional administrative skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
* High levels of resilience, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment
* Ability to work autonomously and with high levels of initiative
* Rigorous, responsive, resilient and flexible approach to tasks
