Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager Manufacturing to lead cross-functional projects at our Cork-based manufacturing facility.
The ideal candidate will manage the full lifecycle of projects including new product introductions (NPI), process improvements, facility upgrades, and equipment installationsensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget, while aligning with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage manufacturing projects across multiple disciplines from initiation through execution and close-out.
Develop project charters, detailed plans, timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
Collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to drive project success.
Ensure compliance with Irish and EU regulatory standards (GMP, ISO, etc.).
Identify and mitigate risks proactively; implement effective change management.
Report project progress and KPIs to senior management and key stakeholders.
Engage with vendors and contractors, overseeing equipment sourcing, installation, and validation.
Promote Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
PMP / Prince2 certification preferred.
Minimum 5 years of project management experience in a manufacturing environment (medical devices, pharmaceuticals, electronics, etc.).
Proven track record in delivering capital and process improvement projects.
Strong understanding of GMP, ISO, and EU compliance standards.
Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and team leadership skills.
Nice to Have: Experience working with multinational or highly regulated industries in Ireland or the EU.
Familiarity with Irish Health & Safety Authority (HSA) standards.
Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
