Job Description
On behalf of our client in public health, we are seeking a Social Care Worker to join their supervision team.
The role is specifically family focused, with the welfare of the service user paramount.
This is a part-time position, day shifts at weekends, 19.5 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in supervised access visits and prepare reports for client team
Monitor and record client interactions and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Work collaboratively with other social care professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
Relevant qualification in social care or a related field
CORU registration or proof of application
Previous experience in a social care setting is essential
Experience in day service or similar social care setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others
Strong reporting, note taking and record-keeping skills
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in social care
