Reperio has partnered with a client seeking a Senior Data Engineer on a 12-month rolling contract to support key data and analytics initiatives.
This role will focus on building scalable, cloud-based data solutions and delivering meaningful insights across the business.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain robust data pipelines using Databricks, Python, and PySparkWork across cloud and on-premises environments, including Snowflake and object storage
2. Integrate data from various sources, including APIs and flat files
3. Improve and streamline existing SQL logic, views, and stored procedures
4. Partner with business teams to build reports and dashboards using Power BI
5. Support data quality, lineage, and governance using tools such as Atlan or Monte Carlo
Requirements:
6. Proven experience in data engineering within cloud-focused environments
7. Strong skills in Python, PySpark, and SQL
8. Hands-on experience with Databricks, Snowflake, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)
9. Solid understanding of data modelling techniques
10. Strong communication skills and experience working with business stakeholders
Desirable:
11. Background in Scaled Agile (SAFe) methodologies
12. Experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers
