About the Role
Due to the award of multiple contracts with a leading Irish utility provider, we have several exciting roles in our MEICA engineering team. You will play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure projects (Water & Wastewater) across Ireland, supporting the design team through the process up to onsite installation and commissioning. Roles include office and site duties depending on project.
Key Responsibilities
Project management of all aspects of water and wastewater pumping and treatment installations, primarily focused on Mechanical/Electrical/ICA requirements with minor civil works.
Co‑ordinating safety and liaising with EPS Group HSQE Department.
Support the design team in delivering innovative solutions & using modern technologies.
Procurement of all items required for project delivery.
Create the project program and ensure that all required project interfaces are allowed for, from design to final site commissioning & handover.
Liaise & coordinate all works with the client and relevant stakeholders.
Manage all site labour including subcontractors.
Ensure projects are completed safely, on time and within budget.
Write engineering reports, method statements and commissioning schedules.
Maintain O&M and Health & Safety documentation and enforce safe work practices onsite during all site installations.
Key Competencies & Skills
Proven experience in an engineering role in a Mechanical & Electrical environment.
Proficiency in PC skills including MS Office and project software.
Strong interpersonal, communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Strong collaborative skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Willingness to learn and be challenged in the water and wastewater industry.
Interest in implementing opportunities and initiatives on a time‑restricted schedule.
Ability to develop specific goals and plans to prioritise, organise and accomplish stated deadlines.
Qualifications
Third level Mechanical/Electrical or Automation Engineering degree.
Similar relevant third level qualification and experience considered.
Full EU/Irish driving licence.
