Job Description:
* We are seeking a Compliance Visitor to join our team. The role involves planning and executing unannounced compliance visits/inspections of early years services as allocated, with the aim of meeting agreed targets and timescales.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for recording all issues identified during the course of the visit/inspection and ensuring their accuracy.
* They will also assign a categorisation to childcare services based on relevant findings under ECCE, AIM Level 1, AIM Level 7, CCSP, and Core Funding.
* Additionally, they will conduct follow-up visits where necessary to ensure that appropriate steps have been taken by service providers to rectify non-compliance issues.
* Liaison with Compliance Reviewers is an essential part of this role, with the ability to provide explanations and confirmations as required.
* Assistance in preparing reports and completing any follow-up actions arising from visits/inspections undertaken is also a key responsibility.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience in administration work is required for this role.
* The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and be able to work effectively within deadlines.
* Proficiency in MS packages (Excel, Word, and Outlook) is also necessary.
* Familiarity with the workings of the community/voluntary/public sector and knowledge of Government Accounting Regulations are highly desirable.
