Responsibilities and Duties
FINANCIALS:
* Ensure all credit and financial transactions are handled in a secure manner.
* Dealing with end of night cash up procedure
* To maximise all sales opportunities through up selling, new innovative product offerings and additional sales, effective recording of sales.
PEOPLE:
* Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign sections and establish performance and develop goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help to manage conflict and improve team member performance
* Educate and train all team members in the Saba Way. Ensure staff is properly trained on quality and the Saba Way service standards, has the necessary tools and equipment, and is empowered to carry out job duties.
GUEST EXPERIENCE:
* Ensure all guest receives the proper Saba Way experience from start to finish.
* Always respond in a courteous and non-confrontational manner when dealing with all guest queries and/or complaints.
* Ensure all food and beverage facilities areas are cleaned to HACCP standards.
RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS:
* Record and report any customer's complaints.
* Ensure that all packaging is ordered before Thursday.
* Ensure that all drinks, wines, ice creams etc are ordered before Thursday.
* Ensure that stock is rotated on a regular basis, FIFO
* Ensure that the store is clean & tidy as per the cleaning checklist.
* Ensure that Cash sheets are up to date & drivers charges are cross checked.
* Ensure that Livepepper/ Just Eat & Deliveroo reports match the till totals.
* Ensure that HACCP procedures & reporting are followed correctly and if not report issue to Alan immediately.
* Working with Environmental Health Officer on visits if the Manager or Owner is not present.
* Ensure that petty cash is done on a regular basis.
* Conduct proper food and beverage inventory procedures. Determine minimum and maximum stocks for all food, beverage, material and equipment.
GENERAL:
* Attend all training courses as notified to you by management.
* Perform other duties as assigned to you by management to meet business needs.
