About the Role:
In this position, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining production schedules that align with customer demand, sales forecasts, and manufacturing capacities. Your analytical skills will help create detailed production plans that drive efficiency and meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Scheduling:
* Develop and maintain production schedules that align with customer orders and sales forecasts.
* Analyse production requirements, material availability, and logistics to optimise planning.
* Schedule production activities ensuring efficient resource utilisation and timely completion of orders.
Logistics Coordination:
* Coordinate inbound flow of raw materials with suppliers for timely delivery.
* Plan and manage the outbound flow of finished goods to meet customer delivery requirements.
* Collaborate with warehouse and transportation providers to optimise storage and distribution processes.
Performance Monitoring:
* Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production efficiency and logistics.
* Generate regular reports for senior management, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions.
Production Process optimisation:
* Analyse production processes to identify areas for improvement and waste reduction.
* Implement process changes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
* Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure adherence to quality standards.
What We're Looking For:
A strong background in industrial/commercial HVAC components and systems.
Excellent organisational skills and a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation.
Understanding of logistics principles, including transportation and inventory management.
Experience in tracking and reporting on KPIs related to production and logistics.
