Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of our vibrant clubhouse. In this hands-on role, you will manage staff, bookings, and stock, ensuring exceptional service and seamless operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing all aspects of the bar during busy shifts, ensuring fast, friendly, and efficient service.
* Leading by example on the floor—jumping behind the bar when needed, helping resolve customer issues, and maintaining high service standards.
* Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and health & safety compliance throughout the Bar, Coffee Shop & Clubhouse.
* Organizing weekly rosters, ensuring appropriate cover for peak times.
* Motivating the team, handling disputes professionally, and maintaining a positive working environment.
* Managing stock levels of Bar & Coffee Shop, placing orders, and conducting regular inventory checks.
* Minimizing wastage through effective controls and staff training.
* Creating a welcoming, lively pub atmosphere that encourages repeat business.
* Supporting and managing live events, club match days, and club promotions to drive footfall.
Requirements
A minimum of 4 years previous experience as a Bar Manager in a busy club, pub or similar venue is required. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to stay calm under pressure are essential. Confidence in handling cash, rosters, and stock control is also necessary. A positive, can-do attitude with a passion for great customer service and team development is crucial.
