Director, Elastomers & Primary Containment Capital Management

Job Summary
In this role, you will spearhead the capital process for the EPC function. This includes prioritizing projects, developing and updating strategic plans and budgets, and supporting the forecasting process. You will formulate capital plans focused on substantial growth initiatives and asset replacements, enhance systems for accurate capital reporting, and liaise with senior management to deliver comprehensive updates on budgets, year‑to‑date capital expenditures, and ensure Project Expenditure Requests (PERs) comply with Finance and Global standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Prioritize and manage capital projects to align with strategic plans.
* Lead development of capital plans for large‑scale programs and projects.
* Develop asset management plans, including site facility and replacement plans.
* Lead site review meetings and operation management meetings to execute capital plans.
* Review project plans for alignment with global engineering and finance guidelines and budgets.
* Maintain an EPC project database and update capital forecasting to meet annual spending requirements.
* Establish and lead PER reviews, embedding KPIs such as ROIC, timeline, and payback periods.
* Develop comprehensive site forecasts in collaboration with site and global engineering teams.
* Collaborate with Finance to manage CAPEX for EPC.
Education
* Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering.
Work Experience
* Minimum 10 years of experience (preferably); strong understanding of general manufacturing and related project management.
* Proficiency with Excel and MS Project.

* 8–10 years managing complex technical projects, including analytics and scheduling.
* Strong influence and cross‑functional collaboration skills.

* Ability to perform root‑cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

* Compliance with SOPs, Lean Sigma programs, and safety and quality policies.
Travel Requirements
Up to 26 business days per year (10%).
Physical Requirements
Sedentary; may occasionally lift or move objects up to 10 lbs (4 kg).
