Join the Blondie Kitchen Team – Autumn/Winter 2025
As we head into our autumn/winter season and look to increase the days we are open, Blondie Café is excited to expand our kitchen team. We are looking for enthusiastic, skilled, and reliable people to join us in delivering high-quality food and great service.
Current Opportunities
1. Senior Chef
* Lead the kitchen team in day-to-day operations.
* Ensure consistency and quality in all dishes.
* Contribute to menu development and seasonal specials.
* Maintain food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
Requirements: Previous experience in a similar role, strong leadership and organisational skills, and a passion for fresh, creative cooking.
2. Commis Chef (x2)
* Support the Senior Chef in food preparation and service.
* Learn and develop culinary skills in a professional kitchen.
* Assist with stock rotation and maintaining kitchen cleanliness.
Requirements: Some kitchen experience is desirable but not essential; enthusiasm, reliability, and a willingness to learn are key.
3. Kitchen Assistants (x2)
* Assist chefs with basic prep and cleaning duties.
* Ensure the kitchen is clean, organised, and running smoothly.
* Support in dishwashing and general back-of-house duties.
Requirements: A positive attitude, reliability, and ability to work as part of a busy team.
