The Job:
As the Financial Accountant, you will work closely with the site-based CFO and will have responsibilities across all aspects of accounting and finance for the company's operations, both in Ireland and internationally.
More specifically, you will be responsible for developing yearly strategic budgets, analyzing and managing cash flow and cost projections, preparing monthly and annual management accounts, managing balance sheet reconciliations, supporting internal and external audit processes, overseeing compliance activities for international entities, maintaining foreign exchange registers, providing financial guidance to operations leadership teams, and assisting in growth planning for future expansion projects.
Your Skills/Experience:
* Fully qualified accountant with at least 3-4+ years of post-qualification experience. A Big4/Top10 training background would be an advantage.
* Experience gained in a manufacturing or distribution environment is advantageous but not essential.
* Excellent IT skills, including a high level of proficiency in all Microsoft applications and ERP systems.
* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to interact with colleagues at all levels of seniority.
The Offer:
This position is offered on a permanent basis with a salary depending on skills and experience, expected to be up to approximately €75,000. There is also an annual bonus of up to 10%, a generous pension contribution, healthcare allowance, other minor benefits, and strong career growth prospects.
The role will initially be fully office-based in Shannon, with potential for hybrid or remote work occasionally.
