We are seeking a Senior Product Designer for our Questionnaire Automation product, which helps teams complete security questionnaires more efficiently using AI-powered solutions and workflows.
Your Role

In this role, you'll help shape the future of our Questionnaire Automation product by:
* Exploring new frontiers with how new AI technologies can automate critical security workflows
* Leading new projects to drive AI powered insights, automate manual and repetitive tasks, and simplify complex workflows to create integrated product experiences
* Influencing key features across the company by creating design guidelines that ensure a seamless experience for all Vanta customers

* A proven track record of creating exceptional B2B SaaS products that deliver impactful customer experiences while streamlining complex workflows
* You thrive in ambiguous and complex environments, using autonomy to drive innovation and improve ease of use for knowledge management and workflow automation
You will report to a Design Director within the Experience Design Organization.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and execution of strategic, shared components and features that drive significant customer value and promote consistency across the platform
* Engage in customer discovery to shape feature strategy and design scalable experiences that align with the Trust pillar and QAuto team's goals
* Collaborate with product teams to identify and advocate for design initiatives that have a broad organizational impact
* Foster collaboration among design peers to ensure shared solutions are effective and adaptable across various areas of the platform
* Enhance our design system, ensuring additions support strategic objectives and uphold high design standards across the organization
Success Factors
* 6+ years of experience delivering high-quality B2B SaaS products on large-scale projects, with a strong focus on high-quality design execution
* Proven ability to create designs that drive business impact by deeply understanding the domain, leveraging customer insights, validating decisions through research, and influencing internal stakeholders
* Demonstrated success in leading the design process from ambiguity to execution for entire product areas, maintaining high executional quality and organizational impact
* Prior experience designing automated processes and utilizing AI to effectively solve customer pain points
* Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (e.g., subject matter experts, engineers, sales), translating complex technical concepts into intuitive, customer-friendly designs
* Proven ability to mentor and influence others, including senior and executive management teams, driving design strategy, systemic thinking, and product sensibility
* Comfortable navigating ambiguity, solving complex problems, and managing projects with proactive escalation handling
* Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating design concepts to diverse audiences
