My client, a leading growing insurance company is recruiting a Business Development Manager for their South Dublin office (Hybrid-2 days onsite and 3 remote).Reporting to the Head of Commercial, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving new business revenue growth through proactive pipeline development, commercial negotiation, and partner acquisition.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the primary contact for a portfolio of clients (insurers, MGAs, and brokers).Develop a deep understanding of each client’s business model, goals, and service expectations.Conduct structured client performance reviews.Identify and convert new business opportunities across insurers, MGAs, brokers, and strategic partners in line with the company’s growth strategy.Own the end-to-end new business life cycle, from prospecting and qualification through proposal development, commercial negotiation, and contract close.Work with the data team to present detailed performance reports and insights to clients and internal stakeholders.Lead the onboarding process for new clients, coordinating internally to ensure a seamless implementation.QualificationsMinimum 5+ years’ experience in sales leadership or business development within the insurance industry.APA qualification is mandatory.
