The role We have an exciting new opportunity for a Production Finance Accountant to join our Regional News and Programmes finance team on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Regional Finance Manager, you will be responsible for providing excellent, comprehensive finance support to the production teams. Key responsibilities Manage the cost reporting process and highlight variances to stakeholders. Maintain budgetary control over various productions and provide financial reporting to the production teams. Prepare annual budgets, forecasts and monthly reporting packs which require detailed discussion with the Head of News and Department Heads. Provide general financial support to the Regional Finance Manager as appropriate. Liaise between production teams, finance teams and all relevant departments to ensure an accurate and efficient flow of transactional information. Minimum criteria Part or fully qualified professional accounting qualification or equivalent experience preferred (e.g. CIMA, ACA). Strong Excel skills and experience of Google Suite (or equivalent). Demonstrable financial aptitude gained via an academic qualification or relevant production accounting experience. Evidence of the ability to work in a busy, deadline-driven environment, reacting appropriately to ever changing circumstances. Strong technical and analytical skills, with the ability to deliver high quality work to tight timetables. Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with differing levels of seniority across the finance and management community and externally. Excellent attention to detail is key as is the ability to cope with a busy working environment. ITV is for everyone.
