Are you an experienced people leader in the Off-Trade, ready to take ownership of a high-performing team and drive commercial impact across the West? This is an exciting opportunity to lead a sizeable field team, elevate brand presence, and shape sales performance across major retail channels.
About the Opportunity
This role offers a blend of strategic leadership and hands-on field coaching. You'll have full responsibility for guiding a team of 10 Sales Representatives, ensuring flawless execution across Grocery, Convenience, Forecourt, and Off-Licence channels.
You'll spend the majority of your time in-trade—coaching, developing capability, strengthening customer relationships, and identifying opportunities that move the needle on distribution, visibility, and market share.
What You'll Be Doing
* Leading, mentoring, and motivating a regional sales team to deliver exceptional execution standards
* Building strong partnerships with key retail groups and decision-makers
* Using data and insights to optimise territory performance and identify growth opportunities
* Ensuring an effective call file structure that maximises coverage and efficiency
* Conducting store visits and audits to measure performance, set development goals, and maintain high operational standards
* Managing regional HR processes including onboarding, performance management, and talent development
* Spending 70% of your week in-trade to coach, support, and drive excellence across the region
What You'll Bring
* Experience managing and developing a field-based sales team
* Strong coaching and leadership capability
* Commercial acumen with an ability to interpret data and influence outcomes
* Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
* A proactive, organised, and adaptable work style
* Background in FMCG, retail, or Off-Trade is beneficial but not essential
