This post is embedded within the NextWave project which will deliver a state-of-the-art operational wave forecasting system to help protect Irish communities, infrastructure and ecosystems from increasingly severe Atlantic storms. Working alongside leading researchers and national stakeholders, including the Marine Institute and Met Éireann, you will play a leading role in the development and operationalisation of an advanced high-resolution, wave forecast model that can inform real-world flood forecasting and climate adaptation decisions. The Marine Modelling Group, led by Dr Stephen Nash, has an outstanding track record in coastal and ocean modelling, and climate resilience, combining scientific excellence with practical impact.
