Administrator Receptionist Nursing Home Cork This is an exciting opportunity for an Administrator, Front of House Coordinator or Healthcare Receptionist within a residential care or nursing home setting.
Role involves:
1. Meeting and greeting Families and Residents.
2. Assessing visitors in accordance with Covid regulations.
3. Sanitizing deliveries for Residents.
4. Answering all calls and transferring to the relevant department.
5. Monitoring emails and responding in a timely and efficient manner.
6. Daily payroll reports.
7. Communicating with all departments in particular Nursing Staff re: scripts etc.
8. Weekly update of Menus for all Residents re: textures, allergies and preferences.
9. Providing emotional and practical support to Families when needed.
Guest & Safety Management: You serve as the first point of contact, managing the entry process.
While COVID-19 protocols have evolved by ****, you remain responsible for maintaining facility health safety standards and sanitizing incoming goods Administrative Operations: You manage the facilitys communication hub by handling high-volume calls and monitoring professional email correspondence Operational Support You bridge the gap between administration and care by managing daily payroll reports and coordinating directly with nursing staff regarding medical scripts Clinical Communication: A critical part of your role is maintaining the Resident Dietary Matrix.
You must ensure that menus accurately reflect current resident needs, including: Texture modification (e.g., IDDSI standards for dysphagia) .
Allergy management and personal preferences Family Liaison: You provide a compassionate "human element," offering emotional support to families navigating the complexities of residential care Essential Tools for This Role To perform these duties efficiently in ****, you may use: Visitor Management Software: For digital check-ins and compliance tracking.
Electronic Health Records (EHR): To communicate script needs and dietary updates to the nursing and kitchen teams.
Payroll Systems: To generate and submit daily attendance reports.
