Engineering Manager – Medical Device ManufacturingLocation:Galway, IrelandType:Full-Time | PermanentWhat You'll DoLead & Develop Teams: Manage and mentor engineers and technicians, fostering collaboration, accountability, and innovation.Sustain Manufacturing Excellence: Provide technical support for existing products and processes, troubleshoot issues, and maintain compliance.Champion Continuous Improvement: Drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance throughput.Deliver Cost Savings: Identify and implement cost-reduction strategies without compromising quality.Ensure Safety & Compliance: Promote a strong safety culture and maintain adherence to regulatory standards.Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with operations, quality, and supply chain teams to achieve production goals and support audits.Manage Projects: Execute engineering projects for process improvements, equipment upgrades, and capacity expansion.What We're Looking ForEducation: L8 Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (Master's preferred).Experience:7+ years in engineering within a regulated manufacturing environment (medical devices preferred).3+ years in a leadership role.Skills:Strong knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and GMP.Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.Preferred:ERP experience (IFS, SAP, Oracle), familiarity with advanced manufacturing technologies, and strong interpersonal skills.Why Join Us?You'll play a pivotal role in shaping engineering strategy, driving innovation, and supporting long-term business growth in a highly regulated, customer-focused environment.
