ABOUT THE JOB: The key emphasis of this position will be to drive sales in the Photo Centre by delivering exceptional customer care and establishing repeat business. The Photo Centre Operative processes customers orders in a timely fashion, while providing technical support to customers and keeping the Photo Centre work area safe and suitable for customers. This is an instore role and the applicant must be available to attend work at the stated location. YOUR ASSIGNMENT - Your tasks will include: Sell to and assist potential customers. Maintain an excellent Photo Centre Department display. Demonstrate top quality customer service. Assist customers with any photofinishing or photographic questions. Display excellent product knowledge and ongoing interest. Build up excellent product knowledge of various film types, cameras, accessories and their usage. Provide technical support as required. Handle after sales issues in a professional manner. Adhere to all Photo Centre uniform requirements and safety guidelines. Deal with all administration relevant to sale. Other duties as required to fulfil your role. YOUR PROFILE - Your knowledge, skills and experience will include: Experience and Qualifications Leaving Cert or equivalent is required. Must have experience working face to face with the public in a customer service role. Knowledgeable about digital imaging and photography. Experienced Communicator / Good listener Have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to be welcoming and charismatic with all customers. Confident, Outgoing and People Orientated Have a warm, friendly demeanor and actively take opportunities to be social and interact with customers. Strong Numerical & Logical Ability Have the ability to handle, count and deal with money; to work with numbers in a competent way. Additional Information: This is a full time 11 month fixed term contract with a potential for permanency. We need all our employees to be flexible about when they work, covering store opening hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
