**Job Purpose:**The Medical Registrar Lead plays an important role in the delivery of acute medical care services, and liaises with the Consultant and hospital staff, including nursing staff and other health professionals in providing quality patient care.The RMO Lead will be expected to oversee clinical activity forMedical Assessment Unit patients and acute medical admissions.The RMO Lead will ensure that post-call medical patients are routinely reviewed by the doctor on duty and when requested by the admitting Consultant and/or nursing staff.Full registration in the Register of Medical Practitioners maintained by the Irish Medical Council.Demonstrated leadership and management skills with a solution focused approachExcellent communication skillsExperience of working within a multi-disciplinary teamPrevious experience of working within a JCI accredited hospital is an advantage**Ideal Candidate:**Registered with the Medical Council of IrelandMRCPI Qualified or in process of qualificationDemonstrated leadership and management skills with a solution focused approach**.
