THE ROLE:
We are looking for a management accountant to join our board here at the GSPCA. This is a newly created trustee position and we are looking for someone who can bring drive and enthusiasm to the role whilst being able to commit the time to our regular meetings and any tasks that arise as a result of them.
As our management accountant, you will carry out the usual tasks associated with the role – financial analysis and forecasting, preparation of budgets for all aspects of our organisation, performance measurement and also be involved in reviewing our planning processes to determine our success. Preparation of monthly reports will also be required for our regular meetings. We expect that you will work closely with our treasurer and also liaise with our financial trustee.

THE PERSON:
● Have a strong financial background
● Have great communication and listening skills
● Must be discreet and diplomatic
●Sense of humour and a team player attitude
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
● Management accountancy experience and expertise
● Formal accounting qualification
● Experience with finance in the voluntary / charity sector would be a bonus
