Project Cost Manager

We are seeking a skilled Project Cost Manager to oversee major construction projects in Cork. The successful candidate will have a strong commercial and contractual awareness, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work effectively with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline and at least 25 years of experience working on major construction projects. They will be proficient in relevant software, such as Buildsoft and Excel, and have a full driving licence.
\
As a Project Cost Manager, you will be responsible for managing project costs from tender through to final account, preparing valuations, cost reports, and variations, and ensuring cost control, budget tracking, and value engineering.
\

Key Responsibilities:

1. Managing project costs from tender through to final account

4. Ensuring cost control, budget tracking, and value engineering

5. Supporting the Senior QS and Commercial Manager on commercial strategy
\
6. Requirements:
