During the placement the undergraduate will be exposed to a variety of roles and functions while working as part of a cross functional team. These may include, but are not limited to, online operational support, new product introduction / technical transfer, process turnaround support, process safety, automation and project work. Working alongside the process team will enable the undergraduate to employ their existing knowledge and to expand it further.
The undergraduate will be assigned work on specific projects during their time on placement and take ownership of these projects, possibly requiring elements of design, planning and execution. Elements of collaboration and team work will be required throughout the placement as the undergraduate interacts with the wider business and other departments onsite.
