Our client is seeking an experienced PQS – Quantity Surveyor to join their expanding team in Galway.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing costs and budgets across a range of projects, ensuring value for money while maintaining quality standards.
Experience in pharmaceutical or meditech projects will be a distinct advantage, as the role involves working on technically complex, high-specification builds.

Key Responsibilities
Provide full pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services.
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation.
Manage procurement processes and evaluate contractor/subcontractor tenders.
Monitor project costs, variations, and valuations.
Prepare and present detailed cost reports to clients and stakeholders.
Conduct site visits and liaise with design teams, contractors, and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with contractual and legal requirements.
Support project delivery in line with programme, budget, and quality targets.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience in a PQS or consultancy-based quantity surveying role.
Relevant third-level qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics.
Excellent knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
Strong cost reporting and analytical skills.
Proficiency in relevant industry software (e.g., CostX, Excel, or equivalent).
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Pharmaceutical or meditech sector experience is an advantage.
