Role Overview
As a Shop Area Sales Manager you will lead a team across eight shops in the south of Ireland, driving sales, ensuring customer satisfaction, and managing stock and operations. This role requires energy, ambition, and strong leadership to build a respectful, friendly, and high‑performing team.
Responsibilities
Achieve specified sales and KPI‑related targets for the region.
Analyze key KPIs and use insights to improve shop performance.
Recruit, select, train, develop, and motivate shop staff in partnership with HR.
Coordinate shop action plans and identify growth opportunities.
Maintain inventory accuracy and manage product range, ensuring compliance with legal requirements (e.g., health & safety).
Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and sales management to support marketing activities, promotions, and efficiency gains.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
Schedule and roster holidays and sickness coverage, and travel/visit all shops as required.
Perform any other duties commensurate with the role.
Professional Knowledge / Experience / Abilities
Experience as a shop supervisor or comparable function.
Knowledge of all tasks related to shop performance, including sales methods, inventory, and product range management.
Strong team‑management skills: recruiting, training, supervising, and appraising staff.
Highly motivated, dynamic, and target‑driven with a strong teamwork ethic.
Reliable, committed, and enthusiastic, able to work independently and within a team.
Business acumen and commercial awareness.
Quick learner capable of grasping new concepts rapidly.
