Then please apply online todayAbout the RoleSmyths Toys are seeking a Digital Marketing Executive to join our team.This role is located at our Head Office in GalwaySalary: €37,000ResponsibilitiesGoogle ShoppingDrive high-intent shoppers to individual toy product pages by promoting a wide and frequently changing SKU range across Google ShoppingMaximise online sales and CoS limites across core toy, software, outdoor and nursery rangesEnsure strong visibility for bestsellers, new launches, and top toy lines, particularly during peak trading periods (e.g. Christmas, Black Friday, Easter)React quickly to trend-led demand (e.g. viral toys, movie tie-ins) by scaling budgets and prioritising in-stock, high-converting productsUse performance data and audience insights to balance always-on activity with promotional bursts while protecting marginYouTube Campaign ObjectivesBuild brand awareness and trust with parents, gift buyers, and families through engaging, age-appropriate video contentSupport key retail moments such as seasonal gifting, new toy launches, and exclusive product dropsReach both parent purchasers and child influencers using contextual, interest-based, and family-safe placementsMeasure and optimise against metrics such as cost per view, CPM, reach, frequency, view rate, watch time.Delivering campaigns whilst meeting deadlines.Regular monitoring and reporting across all campaigns.Liaising with suppliers, buying & marketing teams ahead of campaigns going live.Maintaining the tone of voice for all aspects of the marketing mix company wide.Ensuring that you keep within timelines is crucial to a campaign..Other marketing duties will be covered as and when needed depending on the time of year and volume of activity.The Ideal Candidate2-3 years' experience in the Digital Marketing field along with experience in managing and executing Marketing campaigns across YouTube and Google Shopping within Google Ads platformThe ability to plan, organise and meet deadlines with quick turnarounds is crucial in this fast paced organisation.Managing relationships to deliver on key business objectives.Possess good interpersonal and strong analytical and communication skills.Measuring and reporting to inform digital marketing strategy.Organisation skills and attention to details are key.Ability to multitask and prioritise.The candidate must be able to work as part of the wider marketing team, and broader team within the business, with our suppliers and also be capable of working independently and on their own initiative.Be highly motivated and ambitious, and have an appetite for hard workBenefitsAn attractive competitive salary and bonus packageA benefits package inclusive of:33 Days Annual Leave (inclusive of public holidays)Defined Contribution Pension SchemeLife Assurance CoverEmployee Assistance ProgrammeIn-store discountCompany Maternity and Paternity PaymentsSpecial Life-Event GiftsLength of Service AwardsBike to Work SchemeSmyths Toys is an Equal Opportunities Employer
