Director of Nursing
The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality nursing and social care to residents.
This role requires a strong background in healthcare management, aged care, and leadership. Key responsibilities include ensuring the highest standards of care are maintained, implementing quality systems, and monitoring clinical practice.
Additionally, the Director of Nursing will oversee staff induction, training, and development, as well as encourage innovative practice within the home. This includes conducting regular communication meetings with clinical staff and establishing effective relationships with external agencies.
Financial administration involves maintaining administrative procedures and managing budgets effectively. The Director of Nursing must also be able to liaise with marketing teams to maximize opportunities.
