My client is a leading Mechanical Engineering company who are looking to recruit a Senior Mechanical Project Engineer to join their team on a permanent & full-time basis.My client provides a wide range of design solutions to their wide client base and their Design Team cover a wide spectrum of services from HVAC to Utilities projects. The Senior Mechanical Project Engineer will oversee an exciting project in the Cork region.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESGenerate project schedules in conjunction with project team.Monitor project work progress.Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.Project engineering submissions and value engineering.Project procurement and materials management.Project build review and interaction with co-contractors.Designing in 3D using AutoCAD 3D software.Evaluating final product's overall performance, reliability and safety.Alter/modify designs to meet requirements to eliminate malfunctions.REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONSRelevant third level qualification in Mechanical / Building ServicesKnowledge and understanding of both HVAC and Piping Systems.Have a good level of knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit & BIM software systems.Minimum 5 years relevant work experience post qualification.Comfortable using Microsoft Office, with the ability to generate detailed monthly reports.Have a positive attitude with a passion to learn & succeed, an energetic approach and an ability to take accountability.
