We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Bar & Brasserie Manager to join Hodson Bay Hotel. This senior role concentrates on delivering excellent food and beverage service and managing the day‑to‑day operations of the bar and brasserie.
Responsibilities
Day to day running of the Bar & Brasserie
Lead a team of Food & Beverage Assistants, Supervisors and Assistant Managers
Maintain and build a loyal and regular customer base
Take every opportunity to maximise revenue
Meet and greet guests
Exceed Customer service expectations at all levels
Be responsible for the day to day queries, complaints and issues that arise in the Bar
Maintain high standards of detail at every level
HACCP Controls
Maintain and audit hygiene levels
Maintain and audit food quality levels with Chef
Ensure cash/vouchers and all forms of payment are handled in a secure and responsible manner
Management of Rosters
Performance management
Recruitment and selection
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years experience at Manager level in a similar environment
Strong leadership qualities
Excellent communication, organisation & people management skills
Ability to train new & existing staff
Excellent knowledge of Food and Beverage and a strong eye for detail
Ability to perform under pressure & be proficient in spoken & written English
Availability to work 5 days out of 7 for both opening and closing shifts
