**About the Role:**
This is a strategic and hands-on generalist HR position that suits an experienced professional with a strong background in employee relations.
The successful candidate will act as a key HR partner to operational leadership, managing a wide range of employee relations activity and driving a culture of performance, accountability, and engagement.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead complex ER/IR cases, including pay negotiations, grievances, disciplinaries, and appeals.
* Provide sound advice to the wider team on employment legislation and best practice.
* Drive workforce planning, performance management, and succession strategies.
* Lead engagement initiatives, HR projects, and compliance-driven training rollouts.
* Mona-itor absence trends and support return-to-work processes.
* Support cultural transformation and promote DE&I principles across the organisation.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have:
* Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or senior HR Generalist in a unionised, operational setting.
* Strong expertise in complex ER case management.
* Confident, credible, and approachable - able to build trust at all levels.
* Strong analytical, planning, and coaching skills.
* CIPD qualified or equivalent (preferred).
