Dublin Aerospace Group is a Maintenance Repair Organisation (MRO) based in Ireland and the UK, specialising in Base Maintenance, Landing Gear and APU overhaul. We are a leading player in the MRO market in Europe and have established ourselves as a high quality, reliable service provider.
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced OSHE professional to join our Dublin team. This role will be based onsite at Dublin Airport, with responsibility for multiple sites. Reporting to the Head of People & Culture, the successful candidate will lead and develop the Company’s Occupational Safety, Health and Environment Management System.
Key Responsibilities
* Management and development of the Company’s safety, health and environmental management system.
* Ensure that all operations and processes are documented and comply with relevant safety, health, and environment legislation, standards and licenses.
* Create and enforce safety, health, and environmental policies and procedures.
* Conduct regular risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions, maintain risk register.
* Proactively investigate and implement safety, health and environment improvement projects, promoting a culture of continuous improvement in safety and environmental practices.
* Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and develop strategies to prevent recurrence and implement corrective actions.
* Carry out audits and inspections as required.
* Manage all safety and environmental training requirements, ensuring recurring training is up to date for relevant employees.
* Develop and deliver training programs for employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and environmental regulations, including toolbox talks.
* Prepare and submit reports on safety and environmental performance to management and regulatory bodies.
* Oversee waste management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives, including CSRD.
* Develop and maintain emergency response plans and conduct regular drills.
* Ensure stock levels of first aid, PPE and emergency response equipment are fulfilled and provide advice on use.
* Project manage facility tasks where required.
* Other works relating to facilities, safety, health and environment as required.

* Expert knowledge of safety and environmental legislation/publications and the ability to apply it to improve the Company’s OSHE System to ensure not only compliance, but improvements.
* Ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving safety and environmental goals.

* Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions
* Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with a high level of written and oral communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail, meticulous in ensuring compliance and identifying hazards.
* Willingness to improve and the ability to adapt in a fast-changing business and regulatory environment.
* Excellent level of computer literacy (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Essential Criteria
* Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
* Train the Trainer or an equivalent training qualification.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in an OSHE role, preferably in an MRO or aviation environment
* Ability to obtain and maintain a current valid airside pass / able to pass a 5-year security background check
* Be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical including drug screening.
* Fluent in English, both written and spoken
* Permitted to live and work in the Republic of Ireland without restriction.
